This Emergency Services Disclaimer ("Disclaimer") is intended to inform users of the MyDocki digital healthcare platform about the scope, limitations, and conditions of the Emergency and Ambulance Service feature available through the MyDocki App.
By accessing or using the Emergency Service feature on MyDocki, User acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Disclaimer.
While MyDocki strives to ensure prompt connections between users and emergency providers, we do not guarantee:
Response times and service delivery depend solely on partnered providers, geographical location, network availability, and real-time capacity of hospitals or ambulance teams.
In the event of a life-threatening emergency, users are strongly advised to contact their local emergency number 112 or 767 (in Lagos and other supported regions) directly, rather than relying solely on MyDocki. MyDocki is not a substitute for government or hospital emergency hotlines.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
MyDocki conducts background verification and compliance checks on all partner hospitals and ambulance providers to ensure they meet minimum medical, licensing, and operational standards.
However, MyDocki does not warrant or guarantee the continuous compliance, conduct, or quality of services rendered by these third parties.
All ambulance or emergency service charges are determined by the partnered provider. MyDocki only provides an estimated fare (including base fee and per-kilometer rate) calculated using real-time distance metrics.
MyDocki is not liable for price variations or additional costs incurred during service delivery.
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyDocki Digital Healthcare, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claim, action, loss, or liability arising from their use or misuse of the Emergency Service feature or reliance on any third-party provider listed on the platform.
MyDocki reserves the right to review and modify this Disclaimer periodically to ensure compliance with applicable laws, best practices, and service changes. Users will be notified of updates through the app or email notifications. Continued use of the Emergency Service feature constitutes acceptance of the revised Disclaimer.
