Last Updated: October 15, 2025

1. Purpose of This Disclaimer

The purpose of this Medical Disclaimer ("Disclaimer") is to clearly explain the scope and limitations of the medical information, advice, and consultations provided through the MyDocki Digital Healthcare Platform.

MyDocki provides access to licensed healthcare professionals, partner hospitals, pharmacies, and laboratories for virtual and physical consultations. However, the use of this platform does not replace in-person medical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified doctor where such care is necessary.

2. Not a Substitute for Emergency Services

Important: MyDocki is not an emergency medical service.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, such as difficulty breathing, chest pain, sudden loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, or any condition that requires urgent care, you must immediately contact local emergency services or proceed to the nearest hospital.

While MyDocki partners with hospitals that offer ambulance services, these are dependent on availability, location, and hospital approval. MyDocki does not guarantee immediate response times for emergency dispatch.

3. Nature of Consultations

Consultations conducted through MyDocki whether via chat, audio, or video are based on the information provided by the user. Our doctors and medical professionals make recommendations solely from the information disclosed during your consultation. Therefore:

  • Any incomplete, false, or misleading information you provide may affect the accuracy of medical advice.
  • MyDocki shall not be held responsible for any consequence arising from withheld information, miscommunication, or non-compliance with prescribed treatment.
  • Doctors on MyDocki provide professional opinions, but final treatment decisions remain the patient's responsibility.

4. Prescription and Diagnosis Limitations

While doctors on MyDocki may issue prescriptions or recommendations, all prescriptions are:

  • Issued in line with applicable medical laws and ethical standards;
  • Subject to verification by registered pharmacists or partner hospitals;
  • Not a replacement for physical medical examinations or lab diagnostics when required.

MyDocki does not sell or distribute drugs directly but facilitates access through verified partner pharmacies. Users are advised to confirm dosage, drug availability, and allergies before purchase or consumption.

5. Accuracy of Information

All content provided on the MyDocki platform including articles, blogs, AI health guidance, and chatbot responses are intended for educational purposes only and must not be taken as professional medical advice.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but MyDocki does not guarantee that all information will be complete, updated, or error-free. Users should always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health-related decisions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • MyDocki and its affiliates, directors, developers, or partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
  • This includes damages related to misdiagnosis, treatment errors, delay in medical response, data breaches, or misuse of medical information.
  • Your use of MyDocki constitutes acceptance of these terms and acknowledgment that the service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

7. Third-Party Responsibility

MyDocki connects users with verified healthcare providers and organizations but does not control their independent practices. Each provider is solely responsible for their professional conduct, medical decisions, and any negligence arising in the course of consultation.

MyDocki will, however, take necessary disciplinary or legal actions against any verified provider found breaching professional ethics or user trust.

8. User Consent

By creating an account, booking a consultation, or accessing any medical content on MyDocki, you:

  • Acknowledge that MyDocki is not liable for emergency medical outcomes;
  • Consent to receive health information and digital consultation services electronically;
  • Understand that MyDocki's role is to facilitate healthcare access, not replace medical care.

9. Amendments

MyDocki reserves the right to update or modify this Medical Disclaimer as regulations or service offerings evolve. Any significant changes will be communicated via the app, email, or website updates.
